I need help deciding if I should retake the GMAT in mid-December or just accept my score.. is a late retake worth the risk? My practice tests improved, but the official score didn’t reflect that, and I’m scared a last-minute test will derail my essays. At the same time, a slightly higher score could open doors. How do people weigh the upside vs the time crunch?

My Becker Mock Scores for BEC are 60 and 62. Planning to take the 3rd mock tonight and give the exam day after. Any chances of a 75?

After 7 years of actively managing my portfolio I have concluded that simple boring index funds are way to go. I did well in tech stocks but have some I'll times entries and exits which kinda took down profits. Do you still believe actively trading would produce better results. I have learned quite a lot in process but now I don't think I would be able to give same time when life gets busy with higher roles, kids etc. Anyone have been successful in managing their portfolios and beating indexes.

Assuming I get into CBS/Wharton, is there that much of a difference between them to forgo scholarship money? HYPSM ug in econ, 3.7gpa, GRE 169v/163m. 4 years exp (age 25) on matriculation (2 MBB, 2 int development). No promos.

ECs: founded social enterprise, journalism (on health, environmental inequities etc) at top pubs, published academic research, 4 yrs volunteering as advisor for social entrepreneurs. Recs good not amazing.

ST career goal = social impact VC; LT = social entrepreneurship.
