I personally love this time of year and am always looking for inspiration for resolutions. What did you do well in 2025 that you plan to continue into the new year and what is something you hope to change?

Cook more at home. I am making my own sourdough and dinner rolls, and it has reminded me that everything made at home is much better and the healthier choice.

Let’s be sourdough friends!

I didn’t do it as a NYE resolution, but in 2025 I’ve been working on letting people know when I’m thinking of them, when I miss them or when I’m grateful for them.

I try to just send it without expectations - just a “I was thinking of you today, hope you’re doing well” goes a tremendous distance. I also find it’s easier and feels more genuine than adding “we should get together soon!” (because honestly I am beyond tired to trying to get together soon with everyone).

It has also gotten me in the habit of sending quick notes - a great BD technique!

That’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing! Also trying to be more present for my friends this year without having to add another event to the calendar. This seems a good balance

I’m doing a low buy year - only one personal item purchase per month , but no $ limit . Hoping to get into a quality over quantity habit and reduce shopping time/ wasted time / impulse buys / clutter
Also put my phone to greyscale and deleted socials for the month

This is a huge one for me this year as well. Maybe I’ll tackle socials for lent lol

Something I hope to change is sitting down for dinner more as a family - we always end up eating after my son goes to sleep (so too late) and I'm hoping to change that more!

Great resolutions for you and your family. Happy New Year!!

Mid-level when she's leading the call: please make sure you take notes. It's expected of the person not leading a call (note I always take notes)

Me(jr): asked to lead a call for a different deal as training. Mid-level doesn't take notes (also on call) and tells me it's the job if the junior to take notes.

This is not my wheelhouse so I’m not sure of the answer. If someone is writing a “memoir” and is including me in it, and I DONT want to be in the book, do I have any legal recourse? I understand since it’s been published it doesn’t meet any invasion of privacy or potential defamation yet, but is there something I can do preliminarily to protect myself and stop my inclusion?
