I realized during the break that I actually enjoy this job way more when things are not on fire. Now that the year is ramping up again I am trying not to lose that feeling. How do you hold onto creative energy during busy seasons.

Can you be on more than one project at a time? Like if you have a project that only takes up like 10 hours a week, can you get onto another project to fill the remaining hours? I know your coach is supposed to be your project manager which is why I wonder if it’s maybe not allowed?

Hey guys, I’m a freelance broadcast producer and I’ve spent most of my career working for larger agencies. I’m doing something for a smaller agency and they want the production company to hide costs in their bid and then have production bill the client the inflated amount directly and pay the hidden costs to the agency. The agency is calling it a “consultation fee” but client just thinks production costs more. Is that common and I just haven’t experienced it before? Or is this a big red flag?
