I am an automation tester with more than 8 years of experience I understand what you are going through. There are plenty of challenging tasks and things you can do here but still you get the feeling of this.
If you do the same thing for a year you eventually fall into this mood, so better keep learning new and advanced technologies and move out.
My friend was a manual tester he learnt advanced java and cleared interviews and worked in development projects.
This is the time you can switch by learning whatever technology you like. Self motivation and hard work pays off. All the best.!
All certifications are just one level. Practical experience and working on projects is important. So, learn basics first and be strong in it. You should know that it'll take time. Ther are no shortcuts.
Take an yearly subscription on 365 Data science or Datacamp. And practice daily.
Keep working on projects, apply jobs give interviews, fail, fail l, one day within 6months to 1year you can crack it.
