I received an internal offer today at Wells Fargo and I feel I’m being lied to by HR. I am asking for the SVP title and I’m currently a VP and they said they do not do these titles anymore but I see them on everyone’s workday account. Is this true?

Hi everyone!
I've been offered a job at Publicis Sapient as a front-end developer (React Js).
What kind of work culture, work load and tech stack exposure should I be expecting?
I'm having 1 year experience.
I've also got offers from IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, Amdocs, Verizon and Collegedunia.
All for the role of front-end web developer.
I'm very confused between all of them.

When will be the retention bonus will be paid if a candidate joined TCS in the middle of the financial year. I.e September'22... Will that be paid on next year's September'23 Month only after completing an year in TCS?
And will the Retention bonus will also be considered as taxable income of the the current year taxes(2022-23)?
Looking for valuable suggestions!!!

I was told the same thing about SVP title when I was an external hire. As I’ve changed jobs internally I’ve still been unable to get SVP added to a title, even as I’m assured the work and pay is equivalent to SVP. 🙄
You are right that it’s very inconsistent here because you do find some people using VP, SVP, etc in their email signatures. Idk if some of those people actually have that title in a system somewhere behind the scenes or they’re just playing games with their e-mail. 😅
Ah, I see that. For what it’s worth, that field is empty on my profile. 😂 I looked up some colleagues and it’s mixed, some have an officer title and others don’t.
In workday, this should be accurate. As for email, people have more leeway, especially if they deal with clients directly and need to give a certain appearance
It is possible, but I haven't heard of it. I wonder if that is something new. Like you said, I have seen these titles in workday as well.
I did hear that they don’t really do titles anymore. If you have one, you keep it. Same with targets those are kinda out the window also.
I think it happens sometimes. I also hear that they already did away with titles. As said in the other comments, you need to use your actual title because it has to be accurate.
This is true. When Wells made the update last year to change job titles they weren't sure what to do with the officer titles. The plan is to evaluate officer titles for all roles this year and make necessary changes.
Could you explain the current job titles at Wells Fargo? It’s very confusing from the outside
