I received variable pay in January, along with a recovery of variable pay in the same month. The remaining variable pay was given to me in March without any recovery. Does anyone know what the advance variable pay recovery is and how it's calculated? Additionally, why does Capgemini both pay and recover advance variable pay in the same month?

Has anyone else noticed debit and credit entries on their January payslip?

I recently joined Capgemini at 13.5 LPA along with 1 lakh as joining bonus. It was a jump from 6.5 and I have 4 YOE with 2 yrs in React JS
Two questions that's been bothering me -

Did I settle for less as I can see people taking even bigger jumps with less experience?

My joining date was 15 September, so am I eligible for upcoming appraisal as the annual review is due by October 14 and I have just joined a project?
