Hi Fishies, I was hired for wealth and asset management project EY . It is capital market domain. Any body have any idea about this project going on in EY and the tools used for it.
Please advise if anyone have idea about it.
Just want to know any global tool they use for wealth and asset management, so it's a plus for me to join.
Thanks in advance

When I was in this position, I really wished I had a mentor.
See if your boss can provide access to someone to lean on while transitioning to this new role.
Look at the higher-level picture. It’s great that everyone is being supportive, just keep building on that. Be transparent, be accountable, and always be open to communication.
Thank you! I agree i think honest communication is the most important thing
Just remember what you wanted from leaders and try to be that person.
Agree! I’ve had a lot of managers that haven’t been great and I know I don’t want to be like them!
That can definitely be an awkward transition. Have you tried asking your supervisor for tips? I find sometimes getting feedback from them can be very helpful.
I’ve actually spoken to them now & to the rest of my team and everyone is super supportive so we’re working on it as a team
It is difficult going from being everyone’s colleague and friend to be in their boss. There may come a point where you have to give up being everyone’s friend. Hopefully everybody works with you, but at some point, you’re going to have to discipline somebody or give orders that they’re not going to like and they’re going to feel betrayed. You will have to be OK with that.
