I recently checked out a portfolio of someone I briefly worked with, put together with another freelancer as a team. We produced a few things together at the agency, which I saw in their book (but didn’t choose to put on my site), and my name was not in the credits on their site among the projects.

Yes. It’s not the end of the world, didn’t win any awards, but bothers me since other creatives were credited for the brand work and looks like they created all the work shown. Me ranting.

I’m transitioning into a role where I’ll be more hands on in production. Previously, the producers handled the budget, contracts etc. I haven’t done this in a long while so I hope I could get some answers here to be more prepared

I have an associate's degree in graphic design and work designing wedding stationery. I've been at my company since 2016, and am now a design consultant - speaking to customers directly and creating custom artwork and designs for them. I know I'm underpaid (50k/year in the SF Bay Area) but I thought the benefits and stability were worth it.
