Client's budget is around $300K and would like an apartment on the East Coast / New England. Thoughts on if this is realistic?

I work in this area and can recommend places in Providence, prices in this area start at $260K, and it is a west coast location.

I am not an expert on prices in that area, but I think your client's budget is a bit low if he is looking for a good apartment.

Depends on where exactly, but I saw a few listings for apartments in Boston that were around that price. Could be doable,

But all do same work.

I’m thinking about hanging in here for another year or two but then starting to look to lateral. Would love to work for this company if a position is available at that time.

Should I be mindful about how much I’m spending or should I blow up the budget until someone says something?
