I recently got 2 back to back offers. Both are good companies as per my research

1st Edtech company
2nd Oil and Gas company
Now I am getting mails for background verification from first company.
I am planning to join 2nd company because first company is too far from my home(No WFH, almost 4 hours commute everyday)

My question is
1. Should I go ahead with bv now and tell them later abt not joining? Or should I tell them now?
2. When I should tell them? How many days before LWD?

I bought CER006 on Nov 21 with my current company email id and completed one certification. I am leaving my current organization and I still have 9+ months time left for CER006. My company says the s user id provided by them will get de-activated once I leave (in a week). I have not claimed the amount also. Is there any way I can transfer the certification to my personal email I'd so that I can write other exams in time left?
