I recently had an interview for a research position for a joint project between a university and an NGO. They said they would share their decision within a week. I never heard back, so I emailed them in a week, but they didn't reply. I waited another week and sent another follow-up, but no reply. The job is reposted. Has anyone experienced this before?

I have a friend who was let go a few months into his first job after college (reason: the manager felt like he wasn't grasping the training content to the level that was expected). He's worried about if he should put the experience on his resume anyway, if he does will recruiters ask why he had such a short time at this place, and what will recruiters think if he explains he was let go. What are some things recruiters expect from candidates in this situation to continue considering them?

Anyone from CBS ET here? The management is so toxic and pathetic. I want to resign without even having a backup offer. Too scared to take such a step owing to financial responsibilities.

I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I feel peeved that they wasted my time. Red flags?

A lot of my HPLC and LCMS experience is with already established methods. Any tips?
