I recently received my "not most qualified" letter from MPD. The letter did not list a reason. I am planning to appeal the decision. I'd like to hear from people who successfully appealed the decision either at MPD or other agencies and what they did that helped them succeed. I'd also like to hear from those knowledgeable about what I can do, if anything, to reverse this decision. I imagine the deck is stacked against me, but maybe some of you know better and that this isn't incontrovertible. Hope to hear some good news from you all.

I know someone who successfully appealed the "not most qualified" letter he received from MPD. He was able to provide evidence that he was more qualified than some of the other applicants, which helped his case. He also sought out advice from people who had experience with the appeals process and was able to make a well-crafted argument that swayed the decision in his favor. It's definitely possible to reverse the decision, so don't give up hope.

I would reach out to them to get a reason. It will be hard to appeal their decision without knowing exactly what you are appealing but it is possible for sure

Good morning everyone! I am currently working as an Occupational Therapist at a Level 1 center but am looking to pivot into the clinical research field. Can anyone give any insight into transitioning from bedside to clinic research? Everytime I look online there seems to be certificate programs that may or may not be a scam/waste of money. Would appreciate any thoughts, insight, personal experience, referral., etc.!
