Yes, this can happen. It’s not intentional or personal, it’s just that sometimes people are scrambling to figure out what they’re going to do after you’re gone: e.g. maybe they’re thinking of restructuring your team, or promoting someone else into your position. It’s not always appropriate or helpful to drag you into that planning or the communication around it.
Generally when someone leaves, the company wants to convey to their clients and colleagues “we’ve got this covered” and that often involves phasing the person out of meetings and visible projects right away to show that things can still operate fine. I’ve actually only found it to be a bad sign the one time a company DIDN’T do that after I resigned - keeping me involved in client meetings and internal decisions until my very last day made it super obvious they did not have a solid plan for me being gone, and it was very stressful.

I don’t think it’s “normal” but some companies are weird like that. In agency I used to work at, they preferred people to leave as soon as they resignation was announced. I saw long professional relationships end in a matter of hours after employees leaving notice. I don’t miss working under leadership like that.
