It seems like every time I log into LinkedIn the people who are “starting new positions” are people who already had jobs in the first place. I’m honestly ready to just give up. Career advice that I give to the people I manage- do one more thing everyday that you weren’t going to do or didn’t feel like doing- for your team or for your client. Could be notes, a follow up, a reminder, raising your hand to tackle and drive something-whatever. That little extra effort against something you didn’t “have” to do, every day, overtime will make you invaluable
