However, my manager seems understanding and willing to help me level up as soon as possible. What is your advice? Accept the offer despite the pay cut? Risk continuing the search in a tough job market and potentially ruining a relationship with my former company?

I love my job and have been doing it for years. My Principal is good to me as well! The problem is...the Paraprofessionals at my school are never recognized. You have Teachers Day, Secretaries Day, Principal's Day, etc. Paraprofessional Day comes and goes at my school every year with nothing mentioned to us.
