I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

Similar thing happened to me at an agency. Except the white woman was younger than me and less experience overall. She was leaving and I asked her about her salary. She was making 15% more than me and assumed I was making more. Confronted leadership and HR, they had me jump through hoops but I eventually they gave me 5% increase. Meanwhile in the 2 months of hoop jumping I was interviewing and I left 3 weeks following that BS increase.
Compensation information is only private if the person that does not want to share their salary or compensation package. They hope employees don’t talk! It doesn’t hurt to ask the person will only say no, but you could get a yes!

Were you hired around the same time? While I agree that’s def a prob, they might be able to argue that the market is crazy right now and they have to be more competitive to get new talent if you’ve been there longer.

I would ask. I totally understand your concern. It’s definitely a fair question. She may have negotiated? Perhaps the timing of the job market supported the offer? Also, since companies are remote maybe she got paid based on geography. Good luck!
Yes, address this with your leadership. Have your credentials ready, large projects you’ve worked on, performance evaluations, etc. Prepare yourself before the meeting, be straight forward and confident. I’d also suggest being prepared to leave if they don’t meet your offer. You got this OP!!!

Even if you both were hired around the same time, since your friend was hired for the same title, you both should be making equivalent salaries. I would most certainly bring this up in a meeting.

Unfortunately the way that this goes is often a recruiter asks a candidate what are your salary requirements and they ask the candidate to give them a range. As opposed to saying this is what the job pays.
What was your experience when you were told your salary was it along those lines?
Perhaps the more systemic problem is the way in which we determine people salaries by asking them what they think they should be making and more often than not people don’t shoot their shot and ask for a really high salary. It’s possible that your friend did.
