Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

Honestly, probably not a big deal. Certainly better than him interviewing and bombing, or worse getting hired and terrible. In this day and age, most people will appreciate the time back on their calendars (from not interviewing) and not really care why.
Lie to the partner/HR and say he accepted another role
Say thanks for letting me know. Keep a mental note to never refer them. But you did gain a chip you can use with that person so you don’t want to be confrontational with them and lose that as well. You won’t gain anything by lashing out at them.

Bro chill, it’s totally fine. Are you even a consultant? He may have done his due diligence and does not see a path to 270. Companies also do it, don’t take it personal

Move on, it happens all the time. I had a good friend get all the way to an offer and his current company gave him a deal too good to pass up. That’s the nice thing about consulting where we’re hiring all the time that things like this are part of the numbers game.
