I sometimes read about people who are over employed, working two full time jobs. Do you think that's possible in insurance? I think if you're really efficient and savvy it's probably doable. Not saying I would want to! I'm just kind of fascinated by the idea.

I really can't imagine why anyone would want to. I know some people do, but I don't get it. I suppose if both jobs were fully remote and you were incredibly efficient? Surely there is more to life than working.

Yeah, I have to multitask so much already with one job and my life, adding another full time gig would be hard if it involved the same level of complexity.

Would it not be easier to put more time into your insurance sales position and make more that way in less time?

I think I could do sales, but I don't want to be on 24/7 and I get the sense you have to be in order to succeed.

I mean, anything is possible, but good luck finding the opportunity. It's hard enough to get a job, much less a remote job, much less 2+ remote jobs. The overemployed thing is a lot more common in tech, and even there I'd imagine it's become very difficult to pull off over the past couple years.

You may be right that the window has closed or at least severely tightened on that opportunity.

Actually, our company runs Monday - Friday with 3 shifts, 7-4, 8-5, and 9-6. They worked 2 Saturdays, last year that were required and no Sundays. We have several long holidays throughout the year also. If you want to schedule evening and weekend appointments, you are free to do so but not required. Getting with a good company is the key.

Also, we have several people making over 6 figures that have only been with the company 2-4 years

Hey everyone! This is my first time posting but I thought I’d try to ask, I received a request from a recruiter to interview for a new insurance company I’ve never heard of: Branch. Looked it up and it seems to be a new “Techsurance” company working with both home and auto policies. Does anyone have any information they could share about this company? Thank you!

I wouldn't have nearly as many issues with conservative principles if they weren't so hypocritical in how they enact them.

I'm not opposed to lowering taxes, smaller government, and respecting individual rights, but they simultaneously support bailing out big businesses, expanding church and state, and massive deficit spending to pay for dumb wars and tax loopholes for hedge fund managers.

I'd rather see our government provide food, healthcare, and shelter than any of the above things.

Company B - Recruiter on LinkedIn approached me regarding a position open at an out of state healthcare facility for the same thing I do now, I would be working remotely where I currently am today. Cont in comments..

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!
