Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

My manager asked me how am I doing, but I don’t know how to respond because I am not sure she can fully understand what I am struggling with(or even there is a solve for the situation I am in)
In my previous job, we worked very fast paced so I have never been in a situation where xfn drags their feet to give a straight answer/ unresponsive (teams unresponsive to each other)/ don’t even talk about timeline…..
This is pretty normal if you’re an introverted person. However, not having confidence is terrible for mental health. If you can’t figure out where you stand in your current office, consider switching, trying therapy, or going to a support group. Feeling low like you are right now won’t do you any good. Try taking charge and see how it feels.
I'm struggling with something similar since I've switched. Honestly, I'm just writing out points/feelings and trying to come up with ways to articulate it better during performance reviews. I've been running it with my mentor as prep convos to help flesh things out and explain better
