I used to think one colleague couldn’t ruin a whole job, until I met the one who did.
They were talented and respected but I found working with was difficult. Every idea became a competition, every meeting left me second-guessing myself. Have you ever worked with someone like this? And how did you deal with it?

Having a son (first) next year and looking for a birth year watch to hand down. Obvious thought would be a sub but open to other ideas - ideally want something that is classic and will keep its value. Would wear myself. Would rather have my name (or his) on the registration if possible. Any tips/ideas? Is it impossible to get a new sub in a year’s time?

When I am looking at an email attachment in Outlook it shows the Google Chrome logo but when I open, it opens in Adobe which is what I want. Even though it is opening an Adobe, my boss would like it to show the Adobe icon instead of chrome next to the attachment… anyone know how to do this ?

SIL and BIL told us excitedly last weekend that she was pregnant (had literally just found out, so barely four weeks). This week she tells us she’s not pregnant anymore :(. They did not seem super torn up about it and were very practical about it. We said how sorry we were, etc etc. should I do anything else? Should I not mention it again unless they do?

Have any of you ever have an office schedule with early release on Fridays? How did you condense those hours?
