Happened to me today friend. I know it’s a lot of energy and I’m so sorry it’s happening to you as well. Just got out of bed about two hours ago. I was proud of myself for walking out to my patio to get some sunlight and drink some water. If you can, sometimes even a shower or walking to the mailbox is enough of an accomplishment for a day. Especially during this time. Feel free to PM me any time, hang in there OP. Never alone.
You are an amazing human being
I find that trying boxed breathing (4sec inhale, 4 sec hold, 4sec exhale, 4sec hold, repeat) really reduces the acuteness of my panic attacks. It’s never easy though. I hope everyone powers through ❤️
Happened to me yesterday. I feel super tired today and also feel guilty for having a panic attack. I set up an emergency appointment with my therapist via telehealth. Also planning on doing an OTF home workout today. Order my fav meal. So trying to get back to normal but yesterday was rough. Know that this isnt going to last forever
Thank you SC1 🤗

I just want to hide in bed today. Can’t focus other anything done.
Went through this just this morning
I was fighting one off (unsuccessfully) last night- you’re not alone, friend.
This is what helps me:
- lie on your back (on the floor if you can) and let your chest expand
- inhale until you run out of space, exhale as much as you can. Repeat.
- distract your mind if possible. Pick a category (I.e. fruit) and run through the ABC’s. With each singular breath, think of something in the category for each letter (I.e. Apple... banana... clementine). This also works when you have trouble falling asleep
- Cold. I lay on an ice pack of run very very cold water over my wrists
I also know alcohol, caffeine, and sugar are my triggers as well as media content about violence or abandonment. Avoiding those things helps too.
Wishing you well 💕

I'm so sorry 💕💕💕
I understand, that can be so tough. it’s cheesy, but i’ve searched YouTube for videos about what to do when you feel a panic attack coming and it’s helped a little. If you haven’t discussed panic attacks with a medical professional, I️’d highly recommend
Completely get that, it’s been recommended for me before too 🙃 I’d suggest looking for a psychologist, they have PhD’s but not the ability to write prescriptions. Nothing against psychiatry, but they address patients medically/seeking to diagnosis while psychologists try to understand feeling/emotions
Hang in there OP! It’s just another day. Highly recommend go for a walk and walk indoors. Listen to some light music. Happy to chat his DM as well!
Can you describe a panic attack? Does your heart rate increase like crazy? Would be helpful to understand symptoms from others
I have trouble breathing and feel like I’m legit about to die, I feel my heart but it’s not necessarily racing like crazy
What is causing your panic attacks?
I’m so sorry to hear this OP. DM me if you want to chat. I hope you can get some sleep. I’ve been there.
This happens to me. Just knows it’s absolutely temporary and will subside. We are all living in a time that exacerbates mental health issues. I would recommend trying some mindfulness apps like headspace and calm as they have both helped me a lot
