I was at 5 LPA, underpaid. Recently got multiple offers 14-18 LPA. Joined a contract role at a global insurance MNC yesterday (18 LPA, office, till Dec 2026). Same day, a company I'd regretted declining called back with a permanent WFH offer at 16 LPA — much better fit for my pure analytics profile (Power BI, SQL, Python, Alteryx).
Should I quit Day 1 of a contract for a permanent WFH role at 2 LPA less? How bad does it look and does it even need to go on my resume? Both roles has same skillset
