It also works for fixing my problems!

Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

Thanks all! My husband hold our insurance so that is fine. We are going ahead with transfer today
Sending you baby dust ✨
I’m sorry - that really sucks. It sounds like you have a lot to discuss with your partner. Ultimately there’s never a perfect time to get pregnant and a have kid.
From a benefits perspective, it might be less of a headache to go forward with your transfer if you’re enrolled through your employer. You should at least be covered through the end of the month before figuring out if you want to do COBRA vs switching over to your partners plan(assuming that’s an option). If you wait and switch you would probably need to get reauthorized for everything with a new plan. That’s obviously only one component of a very complicated situation. Best of luck!
Check if your employers benefits run through the month if that’s a concern.
I would do it. Don’t let D take this joy away from you. You’ll be ok.
I think in most/all states if you’re covered on day one of the month, you’re covered until the end of the month. All the more reason to go ahead and do the transfer this month.
I know it probably doesn’t feel like it now, but you may find in time that being laid off was the best thing that ever happened to you. I know I could not have been the type of mother I wanted to be if I had stayed in consulting. Best of luck.
I agree. The stressful nature of our work isn’t conducive for the family plans
I would do it if your insurance is still valid.
Do it!
Yeah I thought they cover the health insurance with the severance package for a while at least
No, don't cancel. Your health insurance is usually still active until end of month (at least this has been the case whenever I left 2 Fortune 500 companies). So any expense you incur until May 31 should be insured. Ask HR (Benefits Team) if they haven't already confirmed in your paperwork or it should be in your Company's Employee Handbook under "separation of employment" or something to that effect.
Hey OP, keeping my fingers crossed for it to work for you 💕All the best and loads of baby dust ✨
