So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
Larsen & Toubro Infotech Is it good time to join Cognizant now for Coimbatore location considering too much attrition in recent times along with many policy changes and do they have enough projects or will there be any chance of layoffs if we don't find any projects for our skill(Tableau in my case)? I have another offer with LTI, Coimbatore for same salary but i prefer CTS more than LNT. Cognizant Larsen & Toubro Infotech

Generally speaking, it's better to put something on your resume rather than showing a period of unemployment. But in a case like this, where the job doesn't align with what you do but was just a necessity, be sure to frame it as an effort to remain active and provide an income for yourself. If you chose to work the fast food job rather than collect unemployment, be sure to mention that in your cover letter.
I love seeing that because it shows you are resourceful, hard-working, and on hand. So, I would add it, but definitely talk about it in the interview, but if you have too much experience to display on your resume, use that to match the job description better, but also mention that in the interview.
Perhaps you say you got a job at “SAID”company, working as a company liaison improving customer service relations.. you approach is 1 customer at a time!! 🤔😬 🤷

Put it on your resume and in the job description write relevant activities that would apply to your ideal job. You don’t have to emphasis parts of the job that do not line with your ideal job. Its all about the narrative
I wouldn’t put it as you’re not obligated to… you can explain your employment gaps in your interviews if they ask… it is generally understood that all of your experience is not on your resume since resumes are tailored for the job applied. A CV is understood to be all experience ever worked.
You are still using skills there. Teamwork, communication, and multitasking, to name a few. I’d include it and highlight all of those. I think in this climate, that isn’t going to be too out of the blue for any recruiters.
