I was made redundant in Nov 23, just started a new job beginning of sept 24, within 2 weeks of me joining my hiring manager was made redundant. Now i have no line manager and his parting words were dont stop your search, keep looking. Now its been 3 weeks into the job, i have no work to do, dont know who to ask for work and i just go in and sit in the office, do some self learning training and go back home. if I start my search, should I put my current job of 3 weeks on the CV?

The other positions don’t interest me as much. I recently had an interview with HCL and cleared 2 rounds of technical interview. I waited for a week for HR call but no such call was received. I then contacted the POC who scheduled the interview (he is an HCL employee) and he said that I have been shortlisted and will receive HR call shortly. This was 1 week ago and I have still not received any call. Has anyone else faced the same issue? And if yes, should I even expect a call fro HR?

I’m new to tax law and I’m worried that I’m going to respond to/answer a scam and give away client info (or my own tax preparer info). Asking for wife who's also in banking. If she got ~$100k in signing bonus in 2019 for 1 year commitment in CA and started FT in July 2020, assuming she leaves before July 2021, can her employer claw back full amount in California? Some say it's much tougher to do so under CA law but wonder if anyone has any insights. Banks won't likely care about analyst signing bonuses, but associate bonus at EB with diversity bonus can be significant. If she quits before, she won't be going to another bank.
