I was terminated because my AGM failed to do her job on my day off. Levy restaurant group is the worse company to work for. If you are a male and you won't be hired for a leadership roles. They only hire young black women with no experience. The regional leader only believes in hiring women first. They are retaliatory and promote a hostile work environment. If you bring this to HR she will tell the GM and then she will exact revenge. Run,run as fast you can from this company

found a role i’m really interested in and came across a post about it from hiring manager with a “reach out if you’re interested”. I’ve got a few connections to the company - is it better to try to go through someone I’m connected with in a different department and try to get referred, or just jump on the hiring manager’s post and reach out to them cold?

Last year I moved internally from a
Paralegal level 11 w/ 14 yrs exp at
$100k base + up to 8% bonus to my
current role as compliance manager
level 9 at $123k base + up to 35%
bonus. I was above cap in my prior
role and now my range is up to $138k
base. I'm being recruited to my old
team as a level 10
Manager with
same base/bonus as now but since it's
a lower level I will cap out within a
year. I always found the legal work
more interesting but limited in career
growth. Not sure what to do.
