What level are you interviewing for? BA / SBA or intern? Don’t think any of our cases I have recently seen are about procurement as the core question…
Focus on listening to the problem and considering the correct framework / structure to hang an answer on. Usually interviewers want to see how you approach the problem, rather than laundry list out some good answers.
Also always temper any recommendations with the implementation risk they carry, and make an effort to prioritise responses (eg quick wins first, then larger value opportunities).
Some interviewers like to see that you are good at mental maths (personally I am not too impressed by it - I want to see a MECE framework that addresses the question.)
Good luck!!!
Issue trees are very important. If you are practicing case studies you will see that there are repetitive frameworks that get used: e.g. income statement break down, anshoff matrix, porters five force etc most of these are really just pre-populated issue trees.
The other things to remember is that your interviewer wants you to do well. We work through literally thousands of applications to pick candidates to take to interview, so we are hoping you do well.
Also, be prepared to answer why you want to work at Kearney. Show you have given it some thought, connect with Kearney people and ask them what they like about it.
Good luck. There are a lot of supply chain and procurement cases, if I recall. Lots of cost reduction and productivity cases.
@OP
Are you a grad? Would love to connect on how you make it to the interview stage

OP how are you going for a BA role now, I am assuming you are not applying through the grad program and have some existing experience?
