I will be interviewing at a Merkle in the next week or so for a project manager, delivery lead position.

The first interview mentioned working with the creative director and account on pitching and delivering work within their experience design group.

I've primarily worked within ad tech (lots of complex web/platform dev) and analytics; limited exposure to the more creative/strategy side of things.

What advice do you have for working with or interviewing with creatives?

My interview with Microsoft for SE2 was scheduled and cancelled a day before. Neither I received any email regarding cancellation nor the recruiter informed me. Two days later I got an email saying Microsoft is freezing hiring for certain departments and the recruiter is ghosting me. Will I even get a chance to interview atleast?

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
