I work for Deloitte and through another post found out about this bowl and that Deloitte offers $25K in infertility benefits. How can I tap into this benefit, please? Where should I go to read about it?

Depends on which insurance you have, for United I had to call Optum to "activate" the benefits. It's all handled with insurance, don't bother with Talent

You need to first call Bright Beginning to register in the program to trigger your insurance. But i’m not sure if this applies to just the PPO or lower tier insurance as well. You should find info on ToD under insurance comparison.

Hey, just call the insurance and they will guide you!

Is that 25k for procedure and 10K for meds? Or total 25k?

Fun fact: They deny coverage on the transfer portion if you transfer two embryos. We did it anyways, but just a heads' up if you're considering this

Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over. We got back to it and have been trying for the last 2 months again, still no luck. We’re freaking out… all we want is a family. Any similar stories? Advice? 😢

Partners - Do you ever take vacations?

I have been at my current firm for about 1.5 years, and in that entire time the partner in my group hasn't been out of the office a single time. Is that normal? I can't tell if it's standard for big law partners to not take time off, if the dynamics for my group may be different (only 1 partner in the entire group), or it the partner I work with is just a masochist.

Hi Fishies, I’m 32yrs old and went with IVF due to male factor. I had 5AA t/f(modified FET) on 11/07, today (11/16)I had blood work, nurse told HCG level is: 168.5, and will be checking again on 11/18, to see if HCG is raising. Is this good value? This is my first time IVF , little worried but again not keeping many hopes and become depressed I’d something goes wrong. Meanwhile trying to stay positive as well.

Has anyone switched labs for better lab quality/embryologist experience? Wondering if there is a significant difference between labs. We got poor results at our current clinic and, happens that our clinic is rated lower on SART website. Wondering if the lab quality is the reason or if the clinic handles complicated cases that lead to lower outcomes. Overall, unsure if we should switch clinics or just try again at the current one. Thanks.
