Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

Larsen & Toubro Infotech I have an offer from Atos and Hcl and Lti . Highest package is LTI with 19 lpa , YOE 10 years sap basis . I am trying to negotiate with atos for 22 lpa but it seems they are reluctant to agree and they said max they can offer is 19 lpa. In my reports -> My current CTC section. It has details of Current annual & Monthly AGS. My question is what is AGS? It is showing half of my CTC. Should I raise this to HR or it is just something else. And where can we get the actual CTC reflection? Pls help. Thanks in advance.

In my team as well, few people have been laid off. The situation is worrisome. Outside market is also not good right now. Just wanted to know if anybody knows about the compensation they give if they lay off? Also last working day on resignation letter will be the immediate date or a date after 3 months?

That's true. I even heard group people who worked for the company more than 15 years are laid off.
Not sure what's happening even after company is delivering positive results YoY.
Even the contract employees in our team has been asked to return their laptops by 31st of December.
I think they have been part of our team for the past 2 years at least. The project is still going on. I think it's due to budget constraints.

Nope, they were straight up IQVIA employees
