I worked in production, where I was tagged in a data engineer job role. To be frank I am not good in python,SQL and I have not much hands on in the cloud. I have knowledge but not hands on.
Now while switching I am applying for data engineer roles only. Please suggest where I can get hands on experience or some courses that will help me to get placed.

Anyone have any resources I can read or any tips on valuing IP? Specifically like a cloud-based data library that is constantly growing with new data points while keeping the historical data points. Kind of new territory for me...

Freelancers, do you actually benefit from having an S Corp? Assume someone is earning about $100k in 1099s and $150k in W9s. Everyone says “oh get an s corp for taxes” but does it ACTUALLY help lower your taxes? (Also, can you get ALL 1099s if you bill through your s corp and does THAT help?) Thermo Fisher for Data Engineer in AWS and Python and Ameriprise as Lead Developer for Informatica Powercenter. Ameriprise is offering 50k more in my monthly salary than Thermo Fisher.
