anyone in DFW area?
Hi Atlanta fishes, I’m moving to Atlanta in coming months and looking for your advice & recommendations for neighborhood and apartment search prior to in-person visit soon. Background & factors: - Male / single / age 30 (I like city life and going out yet prefer relatively calm place during weekdays than too much exposure to crowd & street noise) – heard ATL midtown isn’t too loud anyways - For monthly rent (1BD or studio), I would prefer $1800~$2000 range but can afford up to ~$2100+ (cont’d)

Would you go work for a private company that offers a lot of growth opportunities, high salary and 40-45 hour work weeks, but doesn’t allow WFH and is pretty strict on the 8-5?
If you sent a subordinate an article that you thought might be related to their current project and they responded with, “Thank you. Very Interesting.” Would you consider that rude? Edit: I am the replyer in this scenario
Accenture CN peeps, my manager has not been able to staff me to a project for 2 weeks now after my release from one of the projects where the role as as good as content manager’s. I had voluntarily asked for my roll off as the role was just to upload come content on various platforms. Hey 🐠, what is your base salary vs. the price of your home when you bought it? I’ll start - I’m currently at a 115k base and paid $218k for my home. I live in Atlanta.
Been getting a ton of recruiter outreach messages lately, and a lot of them are attractive roles that I would never even be on a shortlist for. I'm a mid-range analyst at best. Anyone else getting these messages too? Is the market really that thin? I find it a bit unbelievable because I spent two years unemployed and barely getting interviews prior to COVID.
I got a breast pump from my employer. It's about to die. Where could I order it online to get another one through insurance?

Delta now the last airline to fly Mad Dogs... these srsly need to go already. Loud, dingy, no IFE, loud, small overhead bins, loud, and way too loud. Love DL but hate these so much.
I lost my last job a few weeks before Christmas last year and it took me a long while to find a new one. Ultimately I ended up moving to a new city for a job I was really excited about. However, within the first few weeks I suffered a major medical setback which led to a crippling bout of depression. I am finally starting to feel like a person again but I'm afraid the ship has sailed on my having success in my new role.
Informed today that, unless we win some new business in the next 90 days, I’ll be laid off. Thoughts on when I should start to make alternative plans? (Con’t)
