5 hours totally delay in Milan...just made my original connection at JFK (at least everything was delayed)
And wow. Thanks for the tip on the EU compensation. 600 euros here I come!
You may have to fight them for it... Just keep at it. There are services you can use that will handle the equivalent of small claims court and take a cut of what they win for you. Check FlyerTalk Delta board and see if they discuss strategies to get the compensation.
