If I did a PT mba in finance (at a top school like booth or kellogg) and network myself into IB. Would I be considered for investment banking analyst role? I don’t have any finance experience been working in tech side of consulting. I know MBAs usually come out as associate but since i have no experience I’m not sure. curious as to what you all think.

Any tips on how to deal with this…my entire team was let go today (was 5, now just me). Don't own a personal laptop; always use my work laptop for everything. I see people recommending Dell XPS or Lenovo Thinkpad but do you really need that for school? My plan was to just get a run of the mill laptop to use for excel and ppt...what else do i need it for?
