More than 50k lol
It will all depend on your lifestyle and other expenses.
On an average you should be earning monthly between 150k-200k
200k+
Initially when I started my job at 50K, my rule was 10% of my salary as a bachelor.
Now that I have my parent a moving in with me, I have made it 20% at around 15K per month for a 2 bhk.
I don’t think it’s worth paying 50k rent unless you’re earning >2L atleast.
150000
It would be better decision to buy a Home and pay 50k EMI than giving this amount of rent. Just my thoughts.
Few things you need to consider are, your needs, do you really need such a big apartment as per your family size, if you have a big family, you would need a bigger apartment, if you have a smaller family, a rent of 30-35k max should surfice, now you have to decide based on your needs and wants. Everyone has to make that personal decision.
Personally, I spend less than 10 percent of my salary on rent.
At least 1.5L. Emis or rent should never be more than 1/3rd.
