If someone is interviewing you for the same position as you are now but has director positions open. Is it possible to swing up during the interview process or if there’s an offer?

Hello! I was offered a position at a start up biotech company. I would describe the position as a field laboratory technician (like Thermo Fisher) They’re offering a 60K salary. Do y’all feel like that is enough? I want to negotiate.

Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it). I have a degree in marketing, but I am having a hard time landing interviews since I’ve never had a strictly marketing only role. I’m on the Board of entity A (volunteer basis) and I’ll have an interview for a legal counsel position at entity B. Entity A and B have a partnership such that me working for entity B will create conflict of interest. Should I disclose my relationship with entity A during the initial interview with entity B’s hiring manager? If so, what should I say?
