Hi everyone! Does anyone in here work for Omada Health ? I have an interview next Wednesday for a PT Member Support Agent role and am unclear on what the pay could be. Glassdoor has the pay estimate at 42k-48k, but I found a comment where someone in the same role mentioned only getting paid $12/hr. I have 8 years of experience as a CSR but I’ve had a couple year gap in between now and my last job. TIA Any advice helps .

I chose to say that I can’t fully understand the comp I would want until after a couple interviews and I know the full scope of the role. Usually after saying this, recruiters will just tell you the comp. I’ve used this strategy and it’s worked every time for me.
I use the same script and it works for me as well.
Don’t lie. At some point you have to submit payslips or a p45 to HR and though it’s unlikely they’ll do the math, it’s not worth the anxiety.
They shouldn’t really be asking this as it’s an opportunity to low ball you. If you fall under a protected characteristics group I’d politely refuse to answer under that basis, if not just be transparent but make it clear in the negotiation stages the level of responsibility of this new job and the hours expected is a lot more significant than your current role.
Also always negotiate with the awareness you may not get a significant pay rise for a few years.
Depending on the geography it’s illegal to ask (eg NY). In other locations that it’s not illegal it’s part of the game. I think you should focus on “what you’re expecting to make this year”, which is your view (so not a lie), higher than what you made and gives a reference point for negotiation.
If you are in many states you don't need to answer this.
Also, "I'm looking for pay competitive for this role, which may or not be aligned to my current role'
I love job hunting from unemployed. What's your current salary $430 a week. I'm hoping to improve on that.
Just answer with a question “what’s the pay range for this role at this level in this city”. Most times recruiters/HR will just tell me and ask me if it’s too low for me
I think you should seriously question the company's culture. Most good companies don't allow hiring managers to ask for how much a candidate makes. And this is because of Diversity and Inclusion. In case you were part of a statistic that paid you lower than others this is way to undo that
Companies nowadays use firms that will contact your current employer and ask the exact same question so it’s best for you to be honest always.
Where do you live? In my state it’s illegal for a company to ask that.
When you apply to the job, they give you a ballpark salary range. Likewise, when you give them your current salary, you should ballpark it (skew it up a tad).
I’m in CA, this is illegal. For my new job, I did provide a current pay slip/W2 with all income blacked out with a sharpie just to prove previous employment.
