My fiancé got approached for a Sales Executive Role at Instacart. Anyone have any insight into the company, job security, culture etc? They mentioned 100k base, 40-60% variable comp and an undisclosed equity grant. She’s already making 130k in a very secure job, so we are thinking no, but want to do our homework first.

I agree, thank you for chiming in!
If you're focusing on something outside the team’s main area of work but that still contributes to preventing future incidents, that can definitely be a valuable way to keep your skills up to date. It’s like having a broader perspective that enhances your problem-solving ability, even if it’s not directly tied to current projects. Are you looking into something like preventative measures for system failures or security issues?

Thanks! It’s mainly actions on incidents that can prevent them from happening again
I try to put in a PR every Friday so I can stay close enough to the code while being able to handle all the other things required of an EM.
