Hi, looking for some advice here. I’ve just received a job offer as a senior consultant (remote) at a boutique consulting firm for $115K (will bump up to $120K at the end of the year if I meet the targets for the remaining year). I have 4 yoe and I feel like this is definitely under industry standards, as I’ve heard numbers between 130-150 for senior consultants at other firms. Can anyone validate this range as industry standards and also provide some advice on how to negotiate a higher salary?
Sales role? Any one change careers from consulting to sales? If so what company? What is the comp like? Any regrets?
Need advice - Already signed a new offer. Should I delay my joining to June to get the annual bonus (Deloitte) or leave in two weeks and get benefits of low stock prices and get better stock units. What are the chances of market recovering by June? Mathematically, I would recover bonus in 4years if the stock price increases by $10 after vesting. Thoughts?

Hi everyone, I need some big sister advice if anyone can help. I feel really lost in my career. I was doing decently in my career until 2020 when I got laid off. I was consulting independently for a bit after layoff and then ended up getting a job in the non-profit space 1.5 years ago. The thing is after I got laid off I’ve lost all my excitement. I don’t feel motivated to do anything. I’m not low performing at my job in any way but I also don’t care for it. I’ve been stuck on the same salary of

I moved from SF to Boulder, CO and my company docked me 15%. Idaho/TN would have been a 20% dock.
I work in the salary/recruiting space and the general discussion is this: is a company buying your time or your work? If they buy your time then a pay cut to reflect a cost of living adjustment makes sense, as your time is less expensive in a less expensive place. If they buy your work, then a company should pay you the same no matter where you work or what your COL is.
Can people weigh in?

Hi Fishes, I have two offers. NTT Data and Zs Associates. Profile: PMO, YOE-4 ( mix of BA and Project Manager). Salary offered is similar, more perks from ZS in terms of cab, food allowance. But I have heard some grave reviews on WLB at ZS. Not sure of how things will be at NTT end as well. Could someone please help?

Hi all, I am a senior program manager with 14yoe. What is the min and max salary slab for this position? I did get data from other sources but then I wanted to post the question here as well.
Thoughts on staying at EY within Business Consulting - Finance as a manager or jumping to Accenture Strategy - CFO-EV as an experienced consultant (and “fast track” to manager in what the recruiter says is < 1 year until manager)? Salary roughly the same right now but potentially 20% - 30% higher post-promotion to manager at Accenture Strategy. Current role as manager at EY is a comfortable 40 hours / week.
Which one would you pick?
1) Stay current job in a midsize tech - 160k + 20% bonus
2) Boomerang to consulting - 200k base + 25% Bonus
3) Join Amazon as L6 - 160k + 30k bonus + 30k stock

How do you know if someone's title lives up to their skills? At my current company I feel like there are a lot of "seniors" and "ACDs" but I've seen their work and I'm second guessing the whole title

I keep wondering if there is something wrong with me and maybe that's why my relationships aren't working..but you can't really ask for feedback and you kind of have to judge yourself. I made decisions based on what I thought was right or wrong, but how do I know that was the right thing to do? Is there a quiz or something I can take to figure out if there's something wrong with me? I try to think of it from an outsiders perspective and put myself in the other person's shoes, but I don't know...
