Unhappy with my job (Audit)-- what does everyone have their sights set on after putting a few years in? I don't know what I want to do, but also don't really know what's out there.

Transferred into TAS after 2 years because I knew audit wasn't for me

You need to figure that out on your own. No suggestions is going to lead you to what you are passionate about.

What PwC 2 said. You have to step back and figure out what you really enjoy doing then figure out how to make that happen. Beat of luck!

Which level? For what it's worth, manager and senior manager are a lot different than audit senior (and a lot more interesting / "fun") IMO. So, beware that is a thing too. You'll get a new job when you make manager.

Switched firms. Didn't want to go through a year of bullshit trying to switch internally

EY1, did you move from audit? If so what other LOS did we do choose?

like

Salary difference for an S1 in TAS compared to Audit is approximately 20%. At least this was the case for me compared to my peers in audit. For roles in FDD, exit opportunities after a couple years in as either a senior typically will provide exit opportunities in areas along the lines of FP&A, Corporate Development/Strategy, a very good MBA program. In more rare circumstances, equity research is a possibility

like

EY1 did you transfer within EY or changed firm?

!@#$$ damn keyboard.. I meant Best of luck!

OP I moved from audit into TAS and this was the only other service line I considered moving into. Also, not really following what you meant but your second question

Ey 1: What's the salary difference between audit and TAS? Also what are the exit opportunities from TAS?

I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.
