We get paid our salaries based off what our clients are willing to pay for our services. Do I want more? Sure but we have to remain competitive in the market to win projects over other B4.
It’s really up to partners / directors and what projects we are taking on. I know a lot of our projects are co source which seem to bring in less than some others I’ve been on
I used to be in risk, really it has to be a collective effort from partners across all forms to raise fees for risk in order for risk practitioners to be comped similar to MC.
MC often sets the strategic direction for clients which is a reason for why MC pricing is higher.
That's what I meant..the rates for risk is generally lower than say supply chain, cloud, HC consulting. So there would need to be a collective effort across all forms to raise the rates for risk.
I think we get paid ok, I’m in a quant team and our pay bands are above most of the other teams (with the exception of EYP). Do you have any data to back up the post? Not trying to challenge, just interested
Their data is PwC. There is approx 12% difference in RC v MC and ~15% difference in RC v TC at PwC. And then the bonus has historically been ~5% lower for RC.
