Howdy…I need a sanity check! As part of my previous role, I reported security non-compliance and gross security misrepresentations. For my valiant efforts I was laid off (despite being a protected whistleblower) and my reports were buried. Everything I did was in line with my responsibilities. I was extremely concerned that systems housing personal credit data on all US consumers were not adequately protected. I essentially risked my job to protect data and I’m not sure if it mattered.

Deloitte USI is offering me 15LPA fixed and 1lack joining bonus and HCL offering me 23LPA fixed. I've tried to negotiate with deloitte but they are not ready to negotiate and asking me to join on the same CTC which was initially provided. I'm confused to select the company. I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?
