If you had really low hours the past year (think 1300) and were busy and steady the prior three years, do you get let go at the upcoming review as a 5th year? It’s a great firm, but the department was slower. Work picked up and then it would slow down several times. Got my full bonus at the no-minimum firm, was asked to join a new matter recently, and I’m making work for myself on existing cases. Not a favorite associate, but reliable. Woman as well, but haven’t taken any leave. What do I do?
