Depends on what you want out of the cert. If you’re looking for it as a shortcut to Leadership certs are not it. If your looking at these certs to fill a knowledge gap for you then go for it. If your looking to check a box then go for it, this can at least get you seen by recruiters.
If you want to become an exec then you need to have a good personality, leadership skills and someone above who is interested in your development.
My certs have been most useful to fill the gap in knowledge. With that knowledge I could better engage in conversation with others above and build up my network. I have no clue how much my certs have helped me in my career but they’ve sure made it easier to converse with folks who do the things I want to do.
In many cases you get it to check the box. It's not necessarily needed but I notice when it's missing. Once you get to that level you don't list certs anyway.
Everybody in cyber knows those certs only mean so much. I'm pretty sure there are more cyber execs without those certs than with those
It’s more necessary early in your career. If you are already on a cyber career path, my opinion is that it’s not really worth it. I have the CISSP, among others, but I let it lapse at least 10 years ago, maybe more. That has not been a problem for me ever.

I'd get a giac cert instead. More valuable.

Also....what gets you promoted is getting hard stuff done. Having clients that trust you and an interesting cert. I'd say an oscp or giac are ones that I like
But I will defer to current mds in big4.
OSCP still gets my respect as an entry/mid level cert because it's hard or impossible to braindump. Either you have the skills or you don't.
