No - because it wouldn’t be my dream job anymore. 😞
That part
No! Your dream would turn into a nightmare. How long can you keep it up? Will it excite you as much when you are driving 2 hours before start time in the dark dismal December? Take it if you think you can change when it gets too much.
No. There’s no such thing as “could possibly after some time.” You aren’t taking into consideration the amount of time you might need to work extra hours in the office. Also, you won’t have any work-life-balance. The small amount of personal time that you’ll have in a day would mostly be spent on the road.
I’d consider moving. That commute is ridiculous - does that account for any traffic/congestion?
I would not. I live in LA, 15 miles east of Downtown. When I speak with recruiters I tell them I absolutely will not consider positions on the west side - not Century City, Santa Monica, or even Culver City. I interviewed a couple times on the west side and my car time (roundtrip) on those days exceeded 3 hours, once it was even over 4 hours.
Holy smokes!! I’ll stop complaining about my 45-60 minute commute to downtown Chicago!!
I’d move

Probably, but not if you have kids. I did it for a long time and we all suffered once I had kids. Find a way to move closer if it is important to you.
It's not a dream job because your commute will be a royal nightmare. Your quality of life will take a serious hit if you take this job.

By the grace of God I have my so to speak “dream job”, aka an ANSWERED PRAYER. I have considered moving further out but, I would rather move closer in, GOD willing.
