If you were still employed and content with your current job, would you continue to interview for a job you really couldn’t see yourself taking? I feel like if I say no, I’m not up for the challenge.

I’m always open to hearing about new opportunities. But if I know there is 0.0% chance I’d consider it, I won’t waste their time.

If you can’t see yourself taking it don’t waste their time—or yours

Hi everyone, I need your advice. I've been interviewing with MBB and Tier 2 firms over the past few years. However I was never well prepared for case studies. I now decided to take 6-8 months and seriously prepare for cases/mental math and try them again next year. I currently have Victor Chengs book and few others. What else would you recommend for me? How can i lay out a plan to study? Any source you can recommend free or paid?

I’m a tech consultant working in the SAP practice. I’m a second year associate. I have decided that I don’t like the culture of consulting - work more hours, always add more work and responsibility to your plate, etc. I would like to work a job that is more 9-5 that doesn’t expect you to work in so many different things at once. What industry roles should I be applying to? Is leaving after 1.5 years too soon?

Is it better to wait until promo before switching to other firms? Applying to MBB but worried that if I get the offer I’ll end up switching right before I get my promo from Deloitte. Got rejected in technical round for networking profile. Did a lot of hard work to crack interview. But didn't make it. Feeling frustrated. Persons with least knowledge got the job a year before, now gained good experience by working on technologies say that you will be rejected if they refer me to their organization. So frustrated I am. Not getting a break doe a good profile. Blood job has sucked me up.

I’m an immigrant with H1B. Been wanting to get out of my firm so badly but every time I apply outside, I start getting dragged into work at my current firm.I was going through some pretty rigorous interviews (I failed them) and have been in a slump since. Meanwhile my current firm keeps dumping work on me and I can’t find the time to apply outside. Anyone been through something similar? I’m losing hope. The politics is also so toxic, they started screwing me over since my last performance review.

I’ve been prepping for a couple of months now and would really appreciate the help/opportunity! Would send over credentials but not sure how! PwC Thanks!
