Hi new to dfw area looking to buy a house. How’s the commute downtown from Frisco/McKinney area?

Trying to fill 2-3 days somewhere on the west coast (will be coming from Seattle before coming back to the Midwest). Was thinking San Diego maybe - what is there to do in San Diego? Would it be fun solo? Any other places I should go instead? Basically have a full week off after 4th of July, thought I would just chill at home but now realizing I probably want to spend at least some of that time going somewhere.

I have 4 YOE in a 3PL company as a Senior Sales Executive in the warehousing and local transportation business verticals, achieving a humble S$1.5 million ARR in outbound sales, contract retainer up to 5 years. WFH Vs WF Office Vs Hybrid, Which one should you take?
If you are fresher, go for a WF Office setup. You will learn things beyond your work. In the initial phase of of your career, one needs to focus more on learning than on comfort. The interactions at office, meeting with collegues, conversations at the cafeteria, sense of responsibilty, the need to walk up on time to reach office etc will shape you for better.

Once you have a work experience of few year then any setup is fine. Go for WFH.

How does it work when you live in one state but represent & work in house for a company with operations in another. For example, if I live in California but I’m licensed in NY & working for a company with NY operations. Is this ok?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients).
