So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Do you want the job?
If it's not something offered to all employees then you get the job then do an amazing job for a while and build relationships and then when you're liked and successful and earned their trust, you get to use that as leverage to ask for off the books accommodations.
At most, I'd ask what their wfh policy is, not that I want to work from home much less on Fridays, if not a normal option open to all
It could also be part of the negotiation. You ask for 10, they offer 7, you suggest 8 plus WFH on Fridays.
Go into as a learning conversation. Are they open to those things? Does your role allow it? Frame it how it would benefit them. Say how working from home makes you a better employee for them. Don’t just say “I want this” say “given what I know about the role, being able to work from home on Friday’s gives me a chance to fully plan an effective week for the coming week..” or something
