Anyone hiring for a Marketing Analyst position?
Could anyone kindly tell me about the Investment Management and Private Equity Audit Group at Deloitte? 1. Work Life Balance (Is it worst than the ordinary Big 4 WLB?) 2. Is it an entirely different audit from commercial/retail audits (think account balances etc.) 3. Difficult to learn how to audit clients in this industry without prior experience in the industry?(been doing commercial audits for 3 years) 4. Are there relatively good exit opportunities for this audit group? Deloitte PwC EY

The agencies who reform how they treat and compensate talent will survive. The rest will die off. And the freelance universe will expand.
In my non expert opinion, I think agencies are going to look more like edit houses - a few well compensated core staff and then a bunch of freelancers to help them scale up and down as needed.
Rates will go up across the board - there's a shortage at every level.
Yeah this is a good thing if you’re a nice person in the industry. Even better if you’re talented
i think corona shined a light on many things being flexible work schedules, the ability to work remotely (remember some departments had to scramble to do this while others had the procedures in place) and of course diversity in the ad community which was so lacking. I feel that now the proactive thinkers will shine and the ones who can get the jobs done with clever creative on shoestring budgets will emerge victorious. Unfortunately to do this many agencies wil need to change up their staffing to fit with the times which on its own is a daunting prospect. The newer shops that start up now are prob at an advantage because they get to start fresh and new. Advertising will always have its place whether it be tv digital or print.
also with the experience of the remote year I thinn agencies will start to develop their networks to be more cohesive and interchangeable as far as staffing is concerned. Let’s say they need an art director on a client in SF why not be able to pluck someone who is not that busy in NY? Yoy will see more of this which will be able to keep full staffing lean and mean. With everyone being able to work from anywhere those companies that seize this moment will rise those that mandate in office work and mandate you need to live in the city your agency is in will slowly find themselves in big financial trouble with constant layoffs.
