I'm 8 weeks pregnant and have been seriously struggling to stay alert and focused at work. It's a desk job, so I've been trying to get up and walk around every 15 minutes, which does help wake me up, but it completely disrupts my focus and makes me feel so inefficient. What are some other ways I can battle this fatigue while working full-time?

You are in survival mode the first 12 weeks. Sleep as much as you can and try to make it through. That’s it. Women really should get leave for the first trimester, too.

Drink plenty of water. And I usually aimed for an early afternoon/lunch time nap

I’m around 21 weeks and have been dealing with a lot of leg, tailbone, back, and general muscle pain. Since I do work long hours Monday- Wednesday (10hr +) I’m trying find a comfortable chair to switch to. Any recommendations? Currently I’m switching every hour or so between my kneeling chair and standing.

I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. I don’t know where this “glow” is but I look in the mirror and literally am grappling with not recognizing myself :( it’s been impossible to find any clothes too.

I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.

We are planning to try conceiving in a month. Have been taking prenatal since 20 days. I got ovulation test kit recently. Planning to reduce workout intensity (am lifting usually) during the weeks between trying and testing for pregnancy. I have started reducing caffeine already.
